My name is Cody and this is my fiancé Ally and we’ve been living in our home for approximately 4 months now. So we found Michelle through Lake Michigan Credit Union. We worked with them to get pre-approved to buy a home. They actually recommended Michelle and we went right to her. It was great, I think we called her and the next day we were actually sitting down and meeting with her and getting ready for the home buying process.
Communication with Michelle was great! Whenever a new house came on the market we got a text or email from her almost immediately. If we responded that we wanted to see the house we usually had a showing set up that day, if not the next day or the following weekend, whatever was closest. But she did whatever she could as fast as she could.
We initially didn’t want to buy a new construction home. The idea had come up early on in our process. We looked at a lot of homes that weren’t new construction. We looked at a couple the same day that we looked at this one. A couple before it. We came here and love it! Loved the area and loved the house!
So at first time home buyers we kind of knew a little bit about the process of buying a home but weren’t exactly sure. We went to Michelle and she taught us a lot and she made the process really simple. She was never afraid to find the answer for us. She always came back with information that we needed and made the home buying process really easy. Especially for it being our first time.
The closing process on this house was very smooth with Michelle. We were in a hurry to get in the house. We were renting an apartment and we just wanted to have a place of our own. Michelle did everything she could to get us in here as soon as possible and it went very well. We did have to bargain with the seller’s a little bit and Michelle was right on top of it.
We would recommend Michelle. Actually we already have in many different instances. She will probably be selling this home for us and be helping us look our second home as we continue.
